Community Outreach

In an effort to connect the arts world to the rest of the world and to do our part to help in our community, the Bach Society of Minnesota highlights different social and community outreach organizations each year. In the past we've supported and honored the work of local foodshelves and the Local Fair Trade Network.

This season the Bach Society of Minnesota is honoring the work of three different organizations. You can access their websites through the links at the left.

Our first concert, Strings Attached, highlights The Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota. Their mission is to lead the state in building and sustaining quality mentoring for every child.

Our second concert, Singing for Your Supper, honors Poets in the Park, a platform for teens and young adults to express themselves through a creative art form in an inspiring venue.

Our third program this season highlights the work done by the Center for Grief, Loss, and Transition. The Center provides specialized therapy and education in the areas of complicated grief, trauma, and life transition. The Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering hope for the difficult times in our lives.

We encourage you to find out more about these organizations.
