Minnesota Bach Festival
The Bach Society of Minnesota’s annual Minnesota Bach Festival takes place each spring centering around Bach’s birthday. Our 2027 Bach Festival takes place March 13 - 21 with over a week of vibrant and rich musical offerings. Highlights include two Bach at the Bakken concerts, an ABC Series Organ Recital, and a grand finale concert of Bach's St. Matthew Passion in collaboration with the National Lutheran Choir

The Minnesota Bach Festival will begin with a Bach and Friends Workshop, followed by a statewide series of Mobile Mini-Concerts featuring artists from a wide variety of genres. The celebration will culminate with performances of the Magnificat by J.S. Bach and his son, C.P.E. Bach – two masterpieces by two generations – that will inspire and delight audiences with their joyful, artful spirit.
Come spend the day singing and playing selections of Vivaldi’s Gloria led by BSM Associate Artistic Director Marco Real-d’Arbelles who will provide tips and tricks to sound more “Baroque.”
